What is a semi-conductor? It’s mainly made of materials with certain resistance (it is among the resistance of a conductor and a non-conductor). The electrical resistance of semi-conductors also is influenced by variations of temperature or added admixtures.
The term “dashes” refers to the other elements added to the material. Semi-conductors are known as power semiconductor devices of type-n and type-t according to the kind of complete mixture.
Diodes and transistors are manufactured of these 2 types of semi-conductors. Now silicon is surely appearing to be the most wide spread substance for producing semi-conductors.
Diode in its turn is the electronic unit produced of semiconductor material. It makes electrical current pass just in one direction. There is a component of (positive) construction, - (negative) combination and pn-transfer known as barrier level in every diode. Electrical schemes that change between alternating and direct current are produced using diodes. Because that diodes let current go just in a single sense only half of the series or cycle passes by. They call such a connection a rectifier.
LED (light diodes) is another kind of diodes. Such diodes are used when it’s necessary to create light at little voltages and eventually generate no warmth. These days they have LED light diodes as the light showing the standby mode of various electronic gadgets.
Moore’s law gave way to the growth of thyristors industry. Lithography is the most significant side of making complicated power semiconductor equipment at smaller price. Speaking of optical lithography, it now leads to the popularization of other techniques because it has come to its physical limit. It is now gradually being replaced by more contemporary ultraviolet lithography and nano-imprint lithography. There are more suitable candidates. Like x-ray lithography and electron beam lithography these days. In Russia voltage sensors were discovered. They apply those sensors to fulfil various tasks in any conditions. The sensors find their application in commercial, industrial and everyday constructions. The voltage sensors can be of different properties and form. Like those motion detectors signaling on the lights or maybe radiation measurers.

The power system controllers are made to provide supervisory control over numerous actions like opening or closing circuit breakers in subordinate station, maintaining voltage, frequency, power flow and different system properties, lowering or raising the planned interchange of power with the neighboring power systems, fixing and reacting to various system alarms.
For the controllers to fulfil these tasks they have to get a full information of the whole power system delivered from the displays of computers in different sub-stations. With the help of respective interfacing components the state of CB’s, disconnectors, isolators and analog values such as MVAR, MW, KV, Amps or others was captured in the RTU. Russian Federation and China are today the most active exporters in this sphere.
